FRESH & JUICY!

Fresh Market as the Visual Theme, Vital Creativity is Freshly Displayed
Trinity Exhibition has carried on the visual image of passionate red, the color which has been utilized in all previous exhibitions. Its slogan is Fresh & Juicy! The dominating visual design in the display is the sensational texture of flesh, making Redtory into a fresh market boiling with vitality. Through this creative display design, the works of young artist are shown in a showcase of fresh creativity with such eye-catching colors, cheerful atmosphere and a silent appeal of booming life. It is a metaphor of life coming back to its origin. The audience can have an experience similar to walking through a fresh market when they are in the middle of this colorful space.
A Wide Range of Art Forms, A Rich Resource of Inspiration
The young generation is with multiple colors just like the spectrum. There is no clear dividing line between art and design. The freedom of individual expression can form its own model type and motivate the society with a fresh power. This exhibition is a mapping of the mini eco-sphere of youth creativity. The 35 artists in this exhibition covering art forms of installation, photography, fashion/graphic design, short films, illustration and painting, come from different regions and are below the age of 35. Many metaphoric and experimental works are shown, such as the 1:1 self-body sculpture made by controversial artist Huang Zicheng. This piece is exhibited at the entrance and its critique on social stresses and the self healing is strongly rendered to the audience. Also, the installation work Floating Cloud by Macau artist Liang Qianting will be made by the artist at site on 12 April. This large scale installation with balloons would stay in exhibition until it completely sinks down. This is a metaphor of the vulnerability of life. The exhibition provides a rich resource of inspiration by various creative works both static and dynamic.
Humanity in Sustainable Environment, Creation with Social Responsibility
Young people are edgy and imaginative. They are also very aware of environmental issues under the influence of globalization. Young artists in this exhibition have made many creations under the theme of environmental protection, such as illustration works by Ran Lingpei, featuring a little girl with big eyes like in the fairy tales who sees the global warming, nuclear disasters and pollution in an innocent yet severe scene. Other examples are the illustration works Golden Times and Spear · Shield by artist Chen Deyang. The former work criticizes the endless industrial productions which stimulate the excess consumption. The later describes a disordered reality of materialism, showing the threats posed by abnormal happenings hidden in out society. These young artists not only show their concerns on sustainable development of the world and the society, but also try to render such a conception into their creation to build a channel of community with the public. They have their own style and various potentials. Their talents contribute to the prospective history of art in long run.
